AssenSAR’s Research Associate in Image Processing Dr Oktay Karakus has been awarded the 2020 IEEE Turkey PhD Thesis Award.
Dr Oktay Karakuş completed his PhD thesis titled “Generalised Bayesian Model Selection Using Reversible Jump Markov Chain Monte Carlo” in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa A. Altınkaya (IZTECH, Turkey) and Prof. Dr. Ercan E. Kuruoğlu (ISTI-CNR, Pisa, Italy).
